What this Twitter lark then?
When learning about blogging I spent quite a bit of time reading Problogger by Darren Rowse. It is a good source of knowledge for those wishing to learn a few things about blogging. I remember when Twitter first came on the market. Darren was quite enthusiastic about Twitter – But I thought – ‘wow that’s a waste of time. That won’t catch on.’ – I mean why write 10 words when when you can write a 1,000?
Well, I guess I was wrong and everyone else was right. Every Tom, Dick and Harry uses Twitter now from Olympic cyclists to third rate politicians. But, even so, I do try to limit the time I spend on internet so I never got round to getting Twitter, and the social networking world. Nevertheless I’ve tried putting a retweet button on posts whatever that is supposed to do. But, I thought if it’s good enough for the Daily Telegraph its good enough for me.
