Fortunately they have external speakers which will say something along the lines of ‘be careful of this bus’ in Chinese. It’s far more relaxing than being honked at. This feature is standard on many Chinese city buses and it would be good to see it in the UK too.

I’m thinking that electric/hybrid buses are going to be a bit of a danger, as presumable they are much quieter coming up behind you.
