I too struggle in the winter with food cravings. Sounds like I am pregnant! My weakness is mince pies washed down with coffee. Currently I am running more. Takes less time, lower wind chill factor, and should keep my fitness up though the winter. But not on snow and ice!

I have found that three Spin Doctor sessions during the week followed by two, one hour rides on the turbo on a weekend isn’t getting me down just yet.

Try listening to a cycling/triathlon podcast for those times when you just have to get on and turn the pedals… it actually keeps me quite motivated.
