I checked the cleat alignment and discovered my right heel was turned in about 1″ compared to the left, I think this may have happened after a 19mph fall on icy untreated road last year. I corrected the cleat 2 weeks ago and it seem to much better, I still sometimes feel a slight pain but nothing like what it was before, I think it will improve with time.
