My 1 hour turbo/roller sessions are kept mainly for intervals, threshold work etc. Similar to your posts about threshold training on rollers. Only problem is you end up in a sweaty mess!

I too have been experiencing pain in my left knee for quite a few months, on and off, but has recently got quite bad.

So I went to see a specialist and was told that I’ve stretched my cruciate ligament which is causing my leg to overextend and this is causing the pain. I also have weak hamstrings (compared to quads) and a slight imbalance between my two legs…so not dissimilar to your problems.

It’s frustrating because it means my longer rides are having to be cut short. Thankfully I can withstand 1 hour of high intensity on the turbo/rollers!
