He spotted it in town locked up and phoned me (I dont know why he did that bit)
I told him to add another lock.
he then went out partying and forgot about the bike, when he retuned to his lock, it had been cut and a threatening letter was attached!
The bike had two wheels originally like the one in the photo.

Real nice photos there, cycling at night is so tranquil

He locked it up with two very expensive D locks but when he went to get it, he found a third lock on it which wasn’t his. He was stuffed. He went to the police station to ask for advice but they didn’t help. When he returned the next day it was gone. It seems it was a ploy to allow the thieves to steal the bike at night. Be careful.
