Yes, I do remember you and what a lovely surprise to hear from you after all these years. I do hope you are well – are you still in Leicester? I remember your mum and dad too. My mum lived in The Circle until her death in 2006. As you probably already know Cliff died in August 1992 following an accident whilst out training on the Six Hills. I’m sure if he were still here today he would be still riding his bike!
The same ‘rollers’ were still being ridden upto his untimely death. Are you still cycling? Would love to hear your news !

I have fond memories of Cliff. I used to live nearby ( top end of St. Saviour’s Road ) and I think he was a friend of my dad’s. Whenever I visited he was ‘on the rollers’. He used to give me his old silk tubs when I started racing as a junior. Unfortunately my racing career was neither as long or as memorable though….

Lovely photos, I remember the names so well. I recall Jock Wadley giving me a pen when I was a little girl. I still have all the photos taken of Cliff – lots by Bernard Thompson especially.

I used to do a bit of time trialling (10′s & 25′s) and well remember Webster and Cammish … along with Dave Lloyd!
