It’s a little on the cheesy side. I don’t know why but, it reminds me of those open university programmes you used to see on BBC in the 1970s and 1980s. Anyway, it’s still a very good video for showing how cities can become bike friendly through careful traffic planning.
It shows the difference with cycling in England – e.g. Beauty and the Bike

I watched it all. it makes one feel so sad that we in uk have this weird fascination with the car – i think it must come from the usa.
we must do something about it.
ps i love the idea of a car free day – i will mention that to my councillor!
