From my expirence they are just like Halfords. At least Halfords is a national chain with far more stores so you may be lucky and find one where they no something about bikes but to be fair to them the one in Cambridge is alright the customer service I receved is okay and whazt you’d expect from a shop like that. In Cambridge Cycle King at least they know the bike from end to tow and al least can put the fork on a bike the correct way around.

They are cheap and employ kids who do not know how to set up a bike. If you buy one be sure to set up the gears and brakes yourself. The extras are cheap and useless. Spend more and go somewhere where what you buy will last more than 3 months. In the end Cycle King costs you money it doesn't save you money.
