Whilst campaigning on blogs is necessary, I dislike the “us versus them” posts on most cycling blogs. Sadly most bloggers use emotive language and often inflame/do more damage than good. This blog does well to present both sides. Yes cycling provision could be better/safer but the reality is, cycling in the UK is very safe and well, amazing.
]]>The humorous posts and in-post funny comments are quite nice.
Also like your racing posts for inspiration, and product reviews, as you can go straight and buy something which you know is quality or not.
]]>Complaint posts are so frequent in blog and twitter world, and after my evening of catching up on internet stuff, the overload of complain cycling messages makes me feel like I should just hang up my panniers and drive everywhere, but I do feel we need to complain, en mass to authorities, make complaints to police everytime some twonk nearly kills us – because if we shout about it enough, perhaps they *might* start to listen. If we irritate the heck out of people, they might start taking dangerous driving seriously, they might even start to invest in infrastructure. Maybe.
