I don’t have many proper base layers. I usually wear a few vests from M&S so I asked a company to review their base layers. The Craft Pro Zero base layer is a very nice comfortable product to have next to your skin. It is light, soft and flexible. It also fits close to the skin without being too tight or clingy. It’s not too cold at the moment, but it feels quite warm and importantly wicks away the sweat. I also tried a combination of putting the mesh super light next to skin and this pro zero as a layer above.
Definitely recommend the product. I also used it whilst sitting out all day in cold, (counting runners on Sat). It’s not superwarm, but you don’t expect that from a base layer. Most important thing is to get a nice comfortable layer which is good at keeping sweat away from the skin.
- Has a small ‘collar’ around lower part of neck.
- Is quite long and reached a long way down the arms.
- Feels ‘snug’
- Looks as stylish as a winter base layer needs to be.
- Would buy more.
- Not the cheapest base layer, but if you’re a regular cyclist you won’t regret the investment.
