  • Review of Brompton Foldup bikes – This is a one off bike, which you might struggle to find. Brompton are the market leader in foldup bikes because they are by far the smallest to foldup. They can be twice or three times as expensive as other models, such as the Dahon and Ammaco – but they are really excellent.

Dimensions of Brompton Foldup

The dimensions of the folded bike are: 585mm high x 565mm long x 270mm wide (23″ x 22.2″ x 10.6″).

Quickest Foldup?

With a little practice, the Bromtpon can be folded upĀ  in 10 – 20 seconds.

This design seems to have got an immense amount of publicity. Personally it would take a lot to convince me that a folding monoblade front fork is safe.

Seen a lot of coverage of this recently – it looks really good – great to see people rethinking the concept of a folding bike. I plan on putting together bit of a roundup of these cool new bike techs soon – thanks for reminding me to cover this one!
