I’m glad you could see the positive side of the weather, I have to say, we generally like complaining about the weather, especially at this time of the year.
I lived in England for 4 years and could never quite get used to the weather in winter. The damp chill had a unique personality to it, the fog in the area where I lived was surreal. One day it would snow and the next day temperatures would rise dramatically, with a tropical humid breeze blowing. I miss it!
