You can’t beat a poncho for keeping you dry, not so manoeuvrable though.
Heavy Duty Rain Gear – waterproof trousers and jacket and also stand out in the dark weather.
Interesting to note how cyclists in dark clothes can soon blend into the road when its dark and raining.
This was last Tuesday, and with the start of Wimbledon round the corner, it’s often the signal for more rainy days like this. I went on a short interval session in the rain. It was coming down so heavy the roads were flooded like rivers – meaning you couldn’t see all the potholes. Kind of fun for a short while. But, was a good excuse to make interval session short.
Lend us an umbrella gov.
A bit of rain never hurt anyone…
Waterproof trousers at Wiggle
Hi folks.
I really enjoy reading the blogs on here and have just got into cycling.
Any tips for how to keep your feet dry in really wet weather?
I have Shimano cycling shoes which are great but allow water in when going through puddles,in heavy rain,is there a waterproof sock / rubberised cover that can be used in this case?
Thank you.
Dave
Speaking of Wimbledon, is that McEnroe in that one photo?

more miserable was the fact I got my brand new Bianchi 2300 (blue) stolen last night. Let me know if you see it around oxford when you’re taking photos!
