    The sign with a bicycle in black on a white background with a red border, means no cycling.

    Presumably, the same sign with a stroke through the bicycle means that the sign indicates the end of the prohibition of cycling.

    In-fact if you examine the following file, the authorities seem somewhat confused as whether to use such signs with or without the symbol struck-out.

    Examples of Prohibition signs using the symbol struck-out: ‘no right turn; ‘no left turn’ and ‘no U-turns’.

    Examples of Prohibition signs using the symbol without strike-out:
    No vehicles; No Cycling; No motor vehicles; No buses; no overtaking; no towed caravans; no vehicles carrying explosives & etc.

    A shambles, as usual!
