Unusual Bikes – Cycling Sideways

I’ve never seen or heard of a sideways bike before. My first impression is that it looks rather unwieldy; at least, I can’t see it winning the Tour de France. Apparently it has the capacity to ‘veer to the left or right’

Sideways bike says :

“The original bicycle has been around for 200 years. Don’t you think it is time for a change !”

Well to be honest, not really :)

    I was almost expecting a car to take him out from behind as he was crossing the street.

    This contraption is rather unwieldy – it looks like you always need to steer with both hands. Still would be fun to give it a go.
