There looks to be an interesting day of cycling at Blenheim Palace on Sunday September 28th. Using the 6.5km loop there will be a 20 Km time trial and elite road race (1 hour plus 1 lap).
You can download entry forms here at Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace is just outside Woodstock, Oxford (and is also birthplace of Winston Churchill).
I will probably give the time trial a go. The alternative at the moment is a 3 minute hill climb up Streatley hill, Reading CC.
Blenheim park is usually closed to cyclists, although the loop has been used by triathlons in the past. I believe Michael Hutchinson has entered.
