Matt Seaton – On Your Bike

On Your Bike by Matt Seaton

Matt Seaton is one of the best known cycling journalists, often writing for the Guardian. On Your bike seeks to cover all the essential aspects of cycling from its earliest history to modern day racing, commuting and bike maintenance. The problem with these kind of all rounder books, is that they can fail to satisfy any particular niche. But, the book does a good job in providing an interesting and meaningful perspective on the different aspects of cycling. I like the personal stories which help give a human interest to different uses of cycling. I covered one in the bike ambulance service.

Matt Seaton makes a good selection of his top 10 cycling books at the Guardian

Thanks for the list of Matt Seaton’s Top 10 Cycling Books. I am glad only two of the recommended books refer to or are about Armstrong.
