This weekend I did another 10 mile TT, 9 seconds slower than last week. 21.50. It’s hard to compare previous weeks because wind and traffic can make a big difference to your time. But, as soon as a start racing, I become more motivated to go faster. I want to train really hard in the next few weeks to try and get faster. My knee is being a bit of a pain, causing me to take a day or two off after a long ride.
I was supposed to a 25 mile TT this morning. But I DNS (did not start) on a combination of knee and tiredness.
cheers
21.50!
Chapeau!
Sounds like a pretty good time to me.
As an ardent member of the Slow Bicycle Movement (personal best for ten miles is anything up to an hour depending on scenery to admire) I would have to say that if I needed to be 10 miles away in 20 minutes time I’d plagiarise the famous Eliza Doolittle line: “Not bloody likely, I’m going by taxi!”
