How Did the Newspapers Back Home respond to Wiggins’ triumph?
I think that roughly translates as the English go for a nice country walk and end up winning our cycle race.

All newspapers had Wiggins on the front page – Except The Murdoch owned Sun (perhaps they were annoyed the grand finale was on ITV?)

Thanks for posting this birilliant picture of the altered Grat Bradley sign (and giving the village website a namecheck). We thought that the picture was so good that we’ve made it the logo for the website instead of the usual village sign ~ as a tribute to the great man. Wonder if Froome will do the same…?

The Murdoch-owned Times had the biggest front page dedicated to Wiggins (which you’ve even pictured!), and has been the most vocal supporter of cycling as a mode of transport.
People who read the Times are likely to appreciate cycling. People who read the Sun are not. It’s as simple as that – I’m surprised that someone of your intelligence would miss this obvious point.
