[1] Bjanne Riis had admitted to using EPO. The Tour de France organisers no longer consider him a winner, although the UCI have not changed the result.

About the 2006 Tour de France and the Floyd Landis situation The whole thing is a big mess and I hope that after all that is said and done Floyd will have his title reinstated. I personally know Floyd Landis he is not a cheat I believe some serious problems exist with the entire system and he became the target. Why would all of his tests be negitive except the final tests for the last stage? Why would anybody cheat like that work so hard and blow it all by dopeing on the last stage? I doesnt make sense to me believe me I dont understand that. One problem does bother me Floyd was on special medicine for his hip at the time could that have given him a false positive? Why didnt anybody look into that? I guess there minds were made up from the begining. As you all know Lance Armstrong proved that working hard and coming back from cancer and winning 7 tours made the folks over in europe upset and because an american won again I guess that was to much to bear so I guess we will see what happens with the last arbitration hearing and see if the real true winner of the Tour De France is given his title back.
